Living Room Pictures is currently working on the first hands-on reference book for the working 2nd unit and action director. The book will be titled SHOOTING ACTION. The manuskript is being polished right now and our design team has started to work on the illustrations and graphics.
SHOOTING ACTION will explain the nuts and bolts of directing action scenes. All the basics and all the tricks of the trade. It is perfect for anyone who wants to shoot and direct action sequences. It doesn't matter if you are a young film student or film fanatic who wants to get into action or you are a well experienced drama director and have your first fist fight or car chase coming up.
SHOOTING ACTION will give you the tools and the knowledge: How it is done. How long it will take and how much it will cost. Yeah, young producer will find this book very helpful to get an idea for scheduling and budgeting.
